We believe one thing,
almost stubbornly:
space shapes what happens in it.

Dooni wasn't born from a wish to open a room. It was born from a built-up certainty over hundreds of workshops: the room works with you, or against you. Never neutral.

So we built a studio for ourselves... not pretty for the photo, thought through for real work. That's all Dooni tries to be.

Twelve years turning empty rooms into moments that matter. From Paris to Bangalore, from boardrooms to windowless basements, facilitating groups that had to decide, create, sometimes reconcile.

What he took away isn't one more method. It's an obsession with the setting: the light, the walls, the way people sit. The details no one notices that decide everything.

And Syrine. His wife, his partner. The eye that holds the line when Omar's enthusiasm spills over. Together they made Dooni the studio they were already using for ALTO, their own practice — before opening it to others.

03 What we've learned · why Dooni exists THE SCIENCE OF SPACES

We spent years
learning one thing.

Not some grand theory. Three findings, repeated workshop after workshop, until they became principles. That's our "science of spaces": simple, stubborn, tested in the field.

01 The room is a method A wall you can cover, furniture that rolls, a door you can close — it changes what a group dares to do.
02 Comfort isn't a luxury Light, coffee, air. A badly seated body thinks badly. We've seen it too often to ignore.
03 Format shapes substance You don't decide the same way standing around a wall or sitting in rows facing a screen. The setup speaks before you do.
Why a studio

Because we could rent one more office, or build the one place where these three principles are true by default.

Dooni isn't a room we decorated. It's these beliefs, put into walls. Everything else — the coffee, the plants, the boards on wheels — follows from that.
